Bio

Mark Morrison is a senior vice president and chief information security officer providing strategic direction and leadership for State Street’s global corporate information security program. He is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of a comprehensive information security plan across the technology and business units to ensure the cyber protection of State Street’s information assets.

Mr. Morrison has more than 30 years of experience in information systems and network security engineering, policy, risk management and computer network defense. Prior to joining State Street in June 2013, he served as the deputy chief information security officer for the US Department of Defense; the US Intelligence Community chief information security officer; and the chief information security officer at the US Defense Intelligence Agency.

Mr. Morrison has received the Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Senior Professional; the Director of National Intelligence Exceptional Service Medal; and the Director, Defense Intelligence Agency Exceptional Civilian Award.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
