Guillermo Torres has more than 12 years of experience in the Financial Services industry as a management & technology consultant. He has managed systems and processes transformation projects for product development in the US and EU. He has extensive experience in IT strategy and process improvement for Retail Banking focusing on Risk Regulatory Reporting, Anti Money Laundering as well as Means of Payment. As a manager at AXIS CORPORATE USA, Guillermo oversees the consulting and IT delivery projects based out of the Boston office.
Guillermo holds an a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), completing his Final Thesis at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) of Stockholm. He is currently in the process of obtaining a BS in Business Administration at the National Distance Education University (UNED).
